A chain link fence provides property owners with an effective solution for security and peace-of-mind. Yet, to achieve this desired outcome, proper installation of the fence posts is essential. To begin erecting a fence, holes must be dug that are two feet deep (or deeper depending on the fence’s intended height). Once the post openings are ready to go, the posts can be planted and cement filled around them to ensure stability.
Once the concrete foundation has hardened, one can begin to secure the chain link fencing. All links should be connected to the corresponding posts via brackets or clamps – and for extra protection, the bottom of the barrier should be buried in least a shallow depth below the ground to keep out any potential burrowers.
After your fence is all set to go, you can complete your project with the installation of the gates. You have two choices – either purchase gates that are ready-made or bond together your own. Whichever route you take, remember to secure the panels with longlasting hinges and latch hardware for optimum durability.
